Christmas Kitchen Window Decor
A wreath above the kitchen sink brings Christmas into a corner you use every day. Green branches and a red velvet bow supply most of the color here, with a check towel carrying the accent below. Keep the faucet and counter comfortable to use, and let a little light finish the dry side of the arrangement.

Put the Wreath Above the Working Area
Christmas kitchen window decor should fit the way the kitchen is used every day. In this arrangement, the wreath occupies the upper window, leaving a clear view beneath it. The faucet, sink and countertop stay accessible, so the decoration does not have to be moved whenever dishes are washed.
Measure the visible glass and the distance from the top of the window to the faucet. The selected wreath has a nominal 24-inch diameter and a listed depth of 6 inches. Shape the branches before checking its actual footprint, then hold a paper circle of a similar size in the proposed position.
Look from both the sink and the doorway. Leave enough glass visible that the window still brings daylight into the room. If a wreath of this size overwhelms your window, choose a smaller version or put the greenery beside the window rather than compressing it against the faucet.
Plan the Support Before Adding the Bow
The ivory curtain rod gives a pale kitchen a quiet horizontal line. The selected model adjusts from 28 to 48 inches and uses wall-mounted brackets. Measure the complete installation span, including the space needed for the finials; the adjustable length alone does not confirm that it fits every window.
Use the rod only when its installation and permitted load suit the complete decoration. The wreath is listed at 2.4 pounds before any extra support materials. Follow the fixture maker’s mounting instructions and account for the wall or trim material. A rod resting loosely on the frame is not a finished mounting method.
The red velvet ribbon is a decorative detail. Make a compact bow at the top of the wreath and use a separate suitable attachment to support it. Keep the wired edges and cut ends tidy, and make sure the decoration does not interfere with the window lock, opening sash or blinds.
Add a Small Glow on the Dry Counter
Lighted brown branches in a white pitcher bring the same soft glow down to the counter. Place the vase at one end, beyond the sink’s splash area, with its entire base supported. Leave the stretch beside the basin clear for normal preparation and washing.
The selected stems are 32 inches tall before they are positioned in the vase. Inserting them changes the finished height, while spreading the branches changes their width. Check that the arrangement clears nearby shelves and cabinets and does not cross the faucet or an appliance vent.
Use the decorative pitcher dry with these electrical stems. Keep the battery box accessible for switching and replacement, away from water and the counter edge. A weather-resistance claim does not make an electrical decoration suitable for soaking or placing inside a wet vase.
Repeat the Color Without Filling the Kitchen
The wreath already combines green needles, pinecones and red berries. The bow and red-check towel repeat that red rather than introducing more competing patterns. White trim and the pale pitcher let the holiday color stand out without changing the room’s whole palette.
Fold a towel on a dry part of the counter or hang it on an existing cabinet rail, away from cooking heat. Keep the towels in normal use and wash them according to their care label. There is no need to add a garland around every shelf to connect the window to the rest of the kitchen.
Check the arrangement again in the evening. Use the wreath and branch timers as directed and keep the controls reachable. For storage, remove batteries according to the product instructions, protect the ribbon loops and keep the wreath in a container large enough to avoid flattening its branches.
